Face-to-Face & Virtual Training Days

14.04.2022 – 20.04.2022

With a combination of face-to face and virtual trainings we rolled out our pilot training for “SaveOur Planet”.

The participants started with face-to-face meetings that took place on 14.04.2022 – 17.04.2022. During these meetings, the participants were extensively briefed on issues of environmental interest. Among the topics discussed were the greenhouse effect, environmental pollution and climate change.

The volunteers addressed the effects of climate change on the general population but especially on people with disabilities. The unimpeded and autonomous access of all citizens to the built and natural environment was a subject for debate between the participants and the trainers, who are employees and volunteers in the community of Adiyaman.

In addition, the discourse became very interesting when working through the simple steps that everyone can take to protect the environment.

As for the online meetings that took place on the 19.04.2022 and 20.04.2022, these were a good opportunity for the volunteers to learn about digital training and collaboration platforms and to interact online. In the two meetings, the trainers focused mainly on issues of new technologies and on creating awareness on environmental protection through the use of social media.
